Me Crazy are celebrating a huge
milestone this year. Not only has
Colour Me Crazy been open for 24 years,
their longest serving staff member, Stacey,
has now been working there for ten years!
With its vibrant, funky atmosphere, eclectic
taste and effortless style, Colour Me Crazy
is regarded as our regions most inspiring
on-trend boutique shopping experience.
Indeed, people come from all over the
country to enjoy the wild and sometimes
whacky adventure of shopping at Colour
Me Crazy.
Owner, Robin, decided to open a retail
outlet to sell her homemade aromatherapy
products and the funky clocks her husband
made. Both products proved popular and
as their reputation grew, so did the variety
of products, expanding to the jewels in the
Aladdin’s cave we see today.
Robin’s alternative style and colourful
taste, along with her barefoot antics
certainly caused a few raised eyebrows
when the shop first opened in Proserpine.
Despite this, Colour Me Crazy has always
been well received by Prossie locals and
was instantly welcomed into the local
business community.
Together Robin and Stacey are the creative
vision behind Colour Me Crazy, their
unique on-trend products furnish houses
and make the perfect gifts. In addition, the
two women have forged a friendship that
will last a lifetime.
“We joke that we spend more time with
each other than our families!” Laughs
Stacey.
“Our saying is that ‘Stacey is the boss and
Robin pays the bills!’ But in all seriousness
our personalities bounce off each other.
We are both very different but equally
passionate about Colour Me Crazy”
